Choosing Tillage Equipment
Understand rotary tillers, disc ploughs and cultivators for different soil preparation tasks.
The short answer
Choose tillage equipment for the intended field operation and the tractor available to perform it. Describe soil conditions, residue, working depth and width, then ask the supplier to explain the proposed implement and its operating requirements.
IXORTA prepares project-specific equipment configurations and export quotations from Türkiye. Use the checklist below to define your requirements; final specifications and scope belong in the written offer.
Prepare your enquiry
- Operation and local field conditions
- Soil, crop residues and intended working depth
- Tractor specifications and attachment details
Send the machine type, required capacity, destination country or port, project timeline and technical requirements.
Technical quotationDefine the job in the field
Explain the operation you want to complete and the condition of the field before and after it. Include soil information, residue conditions and any constraints from the cropping plan. Where the agronomic approach is uncertain, obtain local agricultural advice before choosing machinery around an assumed result.
Review the tractor and implement together
Provide the exact tractor model and its relevant hitch, drive and hydraulic specifications. Ask the supplier to review the proposed implement size and operating requirements against those details. Work width is one input, not a standalone measure of field suitability.
Inspect the working and wearing parts
Request a clear parts list and identify the wearing components used on the proposed configuration. Ask about replacement availability, adjustment instructions and maintenance access. Compare the delivered package, not just a photograph that may show optional components.
Plan logistics and first use
State the destination, unloading arrangements and route limitations. Ask whether assembly or adjustment is needed after delivery and who will perform it. For a distributor order, clarify packing quantities, included documentation and the initial spare-parts assortment for the actual models ordered.
