Define the transport handover points
For a farm in Uganda, name the agreed entry route, transit arrangements and final delivery location in the enquiry. Have the logistics provider identify the parties responsible at each handover. Ask the importer to review the required documents before dispatch; a general export packing list is not a substitute for destination-specific document checks.
Choose spares before the shipment closes
Build the initial spare-parts list around the selected motors, drives, drinking components and controls, not a generic assortment. Ask the supplier which consumables the farm should hold and how to identify them. Include any agreed spares in the packing plan so they are not mistaken for installation materials.
Prepare for installation at the final site
Send the house plan, power information and water connections, along with photos of the farm access. Assign responsibility for unloading and secure storage. Agree what the farm team must have ready before technical support begins and what checks will document completion of the installed scope.
