Describe the exact farm location
For a Senegal poultry enquiry, state the installation location, not only the delivery city. Provide building dimensions and the outdoor conditions to be assessed by the ventilation designer. If the location has salt exposure or significant dust, flag this for material and maintenance review. These are site questions, not assumptions about every Senegalese farm.
Agree the language of handover
Specify the language required for operating instructions, panel labels and training. A French quotation does not automatically mean that all technical manuals are available in French. Ask which documents can be supplied, by whom, and at what stage, then include the agreed list in the order scope.
Identify the local installation team
List the people responsible for foundations, electricity, water and unloading. Ask for a division of responsibilities between the supplier and the site team, including any remote assistance. Agree the spare parts to hold at the farm and how an operator should identify a replacement component when requesting support.
