Measure the existing building
A Ghanaian farm replacing manual equipment should start with a measured plan rather than a bird-count target. Include columns, clear height, entrances and the available egg-room space. Photograph the existing structure and utility connections. Ask the equipment designer to identify any building changes separately so a low equipment price does not hide a substantial civil-works requirement.
Map the collection route
Trace eggs from each row to the receiving area and manure from the house to its discharge point. Record crossings with staff, feed delivery and cleaning routes. The collection interface deserves its own drawing: an automatic belt inside the house does not necessarily include the conveyors or handling equipment outside it.
Plan the changeover
